We seek out products we genuinely believe in, from trusted pet nutrition and everyday essentials to beautiful, practical products from local and independent makers. Wherever possible, we love supporting Australian-made, sustainably produced and locally created products.

Petcare Byron Bay is owned by Jo and Simon Arnesen, who have called the Byron Shire home for around a decade.
Jo manages the store day-to-day and brings more than 10 years of experience working within the pet and veterinary industry for a leading pet nutrition company. Combined with a lifelong love of animals, that experience has shaped the way Petcare Byron Bay operates today – knowledgeable, approachable and always focused on finding the right solution for each pet and their person.
Simon is a local veterinarian with more than 25 years of experience. While you won’t usually find him behind the counter, his veterinary knowledge and experience are an invaluable part of the business behind the scenes and, unsurprisingly, pets, nutrition and animal wellbeing are regular topics of conversation at home.
Together, we want Petcare Byron Bay to be more than somewhere you simply buy pet supplies. We want it to be a store you enjoy visiting, a team you can trust for genuine advice, and a local business that contributes positively to the community we’re lucky enough to call home.
